March 18, 2020 Update – Bible Study and Sunday Service

Kingdom Life Family,

We are closely monitoring all updates regarding COVID-19. Your health and well-being is a top priority. Bible Study will be held March 18. A decision regarding next week’s Bible Study has not been determined.

As of today, we are also still holding Sunday service on March 22. Generation Next will not be held. We will try to have the Facebook or YouTube livestream available this Sunday.

After this Sunday, we will consider other alternatives for our services. Please only attend services if you feel comfortable to do so. We will continue taking the precautions outlined in our previous message.

I encourage everyone to continue to pray. Seek God’s counsel fervently, and continue to trust God’s word during this time and always.

In His Service,

Pastor Dominique Johnson

March 14, 2020 – Update

Kingdom Life Family,

In light of the global concerns regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), please rest assured that public health and your safety is our top priority. At this time, Sunday Service and Bible Study will continue as normally scheduled.

At Kingdom Life, we are proactively taking the following precautions to help mitigate potential risks:

  • We will have additional cleaning and sanitizing of the church facility, particularly high touch points like doorknobs, faucets, water fountains, tables, and chairs. This will occur after each Sunday service. This is in addition to our regularly scheduled weekly cleanings.

  • During fellowship time, as suggested by the CDC, try to avoid handshaking, hugging, or any skin-to-skin contact. Instead, please greet your neighbor with a fist bump or elbow touch.

  • We will refrain from using the seating ropes, so members and visitors who do not want to sit up close during this time do not have to.

  • We will post helpful tips in high traffic areas to prevent illness. Those tips include proper hand washing techniques, coughing and sneezing precautions, and close contact safety measures.

Please stay vigilant on the updates concerning COVID-19. Updates can be found on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website. If you are feeling sick, please stay home and consider visiting our YouTube channel to view present and past sermons. Additionally, follow us on Facebook and Twitter for live notes from each Sunday sermon. Givelify is also available for mobile giving.

We will continue to trust God for his healing and guidance during this time (Psalm 91). We pray that this virus is swiftly extinguished globally, and we pray for protection of those directly impacted and the elderly around the world.

In His Service,

Pastor Dominique Johnson
